Hah, never thought I would be a Remedial Massage Therapist! Having worked in government for the last 39 years I decided to change for the better and retire! That lasted a few months and I finally embarked on what I had wanted to do for a few years now and study massage therapy.
I am enrolled in the diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy and study at the Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy in Heidelberg. The diploma is 12 months long and covers a wide range of massage techniques including relaxation, remedial, sports and cupping. Currently I am about 3/4 the way through and have amassed approximately 150 hours experience in the various types of massage. I have a keen interest in how the body works and how massage can help and want to further my studies next year with dry needling and reflexology. I am a great believer in how the hands and feet are linked to all parts of the body and how we work.
I have a fully equipped home clinic with everything needed to provide the best service and I am also a student member of the Massage Myotherapy Association Australia and am insured with AON Insurance. I have a current Police check and hold a working with Children’s card.
I live in Mill Park with my partner and our lovable Kelpie. We love the northern suburbs and it is where I worked a lot throughout my life before massage.
